Snart, mycket snart är det dags för fröken "J" att bli FRU! Hennes älskade har inte den blekaste aning vad han kommer att få på bröllopsdagens morgon...

Många tror att man måste ta bilderna samma dag som bröllopet. Hel fel! Då skulle HAN inte få sin finaste present samma dag. Det bästa resultatet får vi om vi tar bilderna flera veckor innan. Det får gärna vara några månader innan till bröllopet. Då har nervositeten och stressen inte tagit över och vi kan ta bilderna i lugn och ro. Dessutom är det ett bra tillfälle att testa hur de tänkta underkläderna sitter.

Soon, very soon, Miss "J" is about to become MRS. Her future husband has not the slightest idea what a surprise is waiting for him in the morning...

Some of you think we have to take the pictures at the wedding day. All wrong! In that case HE would not get his lovely gift the very day. The best result is achieved if we can take the pictures several weeks ahead. I prefer even a few months before. Everything is still peaceful and without stress. By the way, it's a great opportunity to find out and test how the lingerie fits.

Det är omöjligt att inte bli påverkad och inspirerad av honom och hans bilder. Jerry & Melissa, hans fru, reser halva året över hela världen och håller workshops för andra passionerade bröllopsfotografer. För mig var det en riktig aha-upplevelse. Mycket av det han berättade visste jag. Kan jag. Gör jag. MEN jag behövde bli påmind om det. Det är så lätt att man halkar in på ett bildspråk som inte längre är ens egen. 

Jag vill hela tiden bli en ännu bättre fotograf. Träffa nya kollegor. Testa nya sätt att ta bilder. Se mer bilder. Jag blir påverkad. Jag blir en bättre fotograf imorgon än vad jag var igår.

Nr. 1: Direction of LIGHT. Läs ljusförhållanden och posera personen därefter.

Nr. 2: LOCATION & BACKGROUND. Det betyder: välj stället där du ska fotografera och bakgrunden så att det är lämpligt för porträttbilden.

Nr. 3 POSE: Hjälp paret att hitta en pose som utrycker det de känner för varandra.

Nr. 4: TECHNIQUE: Exponera rätt! Anpassa ISO, vitbalans, fokusering.

It is impossible not beeing impressed and inspired by him and his images. Jerry & Melissa, his wife, are travelling half the year over the world to hold workshops and seminars for other passionate wedding photographers.

For me it was a real wow-moment. A lot of what he told I knew. Know how to do. And I do it. BUT I neede to be reminded about it. It's so easy to slide into style that's no longer your own.

I want to become an even better photographer. All the time. Testing new ways of taking pictures. Look at more pictures. Meet new colleagues. I get empowered. Making me an even better photographer tomorrow than I was yesterday.

Vilket fantastiskt ljus vi hade under fotograferingen! Jag har varit där många, många gånger men den här eftermiddagen var ljuset helt otroligt fint. Jag tog bilderna på Alsu & Johan innan den korta (3 minuter!) vigselceremonin och de kom på så sätt i stämning för sin stora dag.

Jag rekommenderar verkligen att gå på en visning i Stadshuset så att man vet hur det ser ut. Under själva vigsel ceremonin är det flesta alldeles för nervösa för att kunna registrera vilket vacker rum det är de befinner sig i.

What an amazing light we had during our photosession! I have been there many, many times but this afternoon the light was gorgeous. Alsu & Johan hade their pictures taken before the short (three minutes!) wedding ceremony so they came in the right mood for their big day.

I do recommend to take a guided tour at Stadshuset in order to see how the room looks where the ceremony is held.  You will be too nervous to be able to register the beautiful architecture, the paintings, the sculptures and the elegance of it all.

Alsu och Johan ringde mig bara några dagar innan de skulle till Stadshuset - som tur var hade jag tid och vi kunde ta en hel del fina bilder innan solen sen gick ner.  Här är ett litet smakprov - lite mer bilder kommer snart.

Alsu and Johan called me just a few days before they should gå to Stadshuset - luckily I was available and we could take some pretty nice pictures before the sun set down. Here's a little sneak-peek. More pictures coming up soon.

Vi lovade på Bröllopsmässan att lotta ut en SecretBox® bland alla dem (nästan 300!) som skrev sin mailadress i vår lilla block. Och nu är det klart! Vill ni veta hur vi gjorde? Vi lade alla blad på golvet, sen släppte vi in Pärsson (vår hund) i rummet. Han stannade, sniffade, tog ett steg framåt, trampade på en av namnen och så var det avgjort! Vinnaren är: ANNIKA! Stort Grattis! Hon vet redan om det och är överlycklig att få fotografera en "SecretBox®" till sin blivande man. Deras bröllop är i augusti.

We promised to all our visitors who wrote down their mail addresses (almost 300!) at the Wedding Fair, that one of them would win a SecretBox®. And now it's done. Do you want to know how we did it? We put all the pages on the floor and opened the door for our dog Pärsson (sounds like "passion"). He stopped, sniffed, took one step forward, put his paw on a name and that´s it! The winner is: ANNIKA! Congratulations! She already knows and is sooo happy for the gift ske has for her future hubby. Their wedding is in august.

När vi var klara med att bygga montern på Grand Hôtel åkte vi till Nacka för att bygga nästa. Den var lite mindre och i en helt annan miljö.

På lördag förmiddag, innan besökarna kom, bjöd vi alla kollegor som var där på lite bubbel. Tyvärr kunde inte alla komma loss - en del höll fortfarande på med det egna bygget. Eftersom jag skulle försöka att vara på båda ställen (inte samtidigt!) fick jag fantastiskt hjälp av vår dotter Susanne som är ett proffs i marknadsföring. Vi fick träffa många härliga kollegor och hade jätte kul med alla blivande brudar och deras män som tyckte att "SecretBox®" var den perfekta morgongåvan.

When we had finished our both at the Grand Hôtel we went to Nacka to build the next. This one was a little smaller and in a totally different environment.

Saturday morning, befor all the visitors came, we invited all our colleagues for a bubbly drink in our both. Sadly some could not come because they still were busy finishing their own both. I wanted to be on both wedding fairs (not at the same time!) so I got help from our daugher Susanne, who is a professional in marketing. We met so many lovely colleagues and had so much fun with all the brides2b and their future hubbies who loooved our SecretBox®.

I år var jag som utställare på Bröllopsmässan i Grand Hôtel och på Bröllopsmässan i Nacka. Att göra en monter i en av Stockholms exklusivaste hotell och i en av de vackraste salongerna där var ett nöje! Det var inte lätt, men med lite fantasi och mycket hjälp av min man lyckades vi. Titta på bilderna så ser ni.

Ett stort tack också till min kollega Kate Gabor som hjälpte mig på Grand Hôtel under helgen och till min assistent (och dotter) Susanne som med inlevelse berättade om sin passion för fotografering.

This year I had a both at the Wedding Fair in the Grand Hôtel and the Wedding Fair in Nacka. Creating a both i one of Stockholms most exclusive hotels and in one of the most beautiful salongs there was pure pleasure! It was not easy, but with a little fantasy and a lot of help from my husband we did it.

Another big "thanks" goes to my colleague Kate Gabor, who helped me in the both at the Grand Hôtel during the week-end, and to my assistant (and daughter) Susanne, who charmed everybody with her passion for photography.

We had incredibly many visitors and amazing brides who wrote their mail addresses in our little book. We promised to give away a "SecretBox®" session amongst them (soon we will reveil the winner).

En extra dag i år!

Nu får en blivande brud fria till sin kille och vem vet, han kanske säger "JA!" till bröllopet i år? Dags att boka bröllopsfotograf!

Now the bride to be may pop the question and who knows, he might say "YES" to a wedding this year? Time to book your wedding photographer...

Ett bröllop var mycket speciell för mig i år. Det var Ida & Daniel's vintage-bröllop. Lite förhistoria: Daniel har två syskon, Helene och Christian, vars båda bröllop jag har fotograferat. Men inte nog med det, vi var grannar under många år och jag har sett "barnen" bli stora och tagit deras studentbilder, familjefoton och så.

En dag förra vintern fick jag mail av Daniel där han berättade att han skulle gifta sig med sin Ida och han undrade om jag var ledig den 14 maj. Jag kollade i min almanacka och såg att jag redan var bokat. Vi var båda väldigt ledsna. Men...några dagar senare fick jag ett mail av paret som hade bokat mig att de var tvungna att lägga bröllopet till hösten. Kan man ha så mycket tur?

Jag träffade Ida och Daniel under våren och de berättade om sina planer med ett vintage-bröllop. Det började med inbjudningarna som var utformade som bio-afficher. Allting var så genomtänkt att det är svårt att berätta. Ni kommer att få läsa om Ida & Daniel i tidningen "Allt om Bröllop" om några månader. Men här kommer i alla fall några bilder.

There was one wedding that was very special to me this year: Ida & Daniel's vintage-wedding. This needs some explanation: Daniel has a sister and a brother - Helene and Christian - whose weddings I photographed. But not only that, we were neighbours for many years and I saw the "kids" grow up, took the pictures when they graduated, familyportraits and so.

One day last winter, I got a mail from daniel, telling me that he would get married with Ida and asking me if I was available 14th May. I checked my calender and saw that I was already booked. We were both very disappointed. But... a few days later I got another mail from the couple that had booked me who told me that they had to moove the wedding to later that autumn. How lucky can you be?

I met Ida & Daniel later i spring and they told me about their plans for a vintage-wedding. It started with the invitations that were like posters for an old movie. Everything was so well planned that it is hard to discribe. You will be able to read more about Ida & Daniel in the spring edition of the magazine "Allt om Bröllop". Untill then let me show you some of their pictures.

Att välja ett färgtema kan ibland vara det svåraste. Men varför krängla till det? Det enklaste är ofta det mest eleganta. Champagne passar till allt - i glaset och vid sidan om...

Choosing a colour theme can sometimes be difficult. But why don't you just keep it simple and elegant? Champagne goes with everything - on and off the table...

När jag fotograferar för SecretBox® har mina modeller (ja, de är ibland som modeller) ofta med sig en hel del rekvisita. Vad sägs om en väska full av pärlhalsband? Pärlor och fjädrar kan man aldrig ha nog av ;-)

When I photograph for the SecretBox®, my models (yes, they sometimes are like models) often bring some props. How about a bag full of pearl necklaces? Pearls and feathers - you can't overdo it ;-)

Here are some more pictures from Kristin & Nisarg's wedding at Stadshuset in Stockholm. They had not booked me to photograph their wedding but I was there and waiting for another couple. I just could not keep my fingers away from my camera and took some pictures - for my blog.

När jag väntade på ett brudpar vid Stadshuset, såg jag bröllopsgäster som hade en bunt med helium fyllda ballonger med sig. De började skriva på kort som hängde på en tråd på ballongerna... jag frågade om jag fick ta några bilder för min blogg... inga problem! Kristin från Tyskland och Nisarg från Indien hade gift sig och nu skulle gästernas lyckönskingar flyga över Stockholm och kanske längre... och längre... Vilken härlig idé! Snart visar jag fler bilder.

One saturday, when I was waiting for my bride and groom at Stadshuset, I saw some other wedding guests with a bundle of balloons in the air. They were writing on cards, hanging on ribbons from the balloons... I asked if it was ok to take some picture for my blog... No problem! Kristin from Germany and Nisarg from India got married and now the guests' wishes should fly over Stockholm and maybe further... and further... What a great idea! More to come soon.

Jiyeon och Jyrki hade två bröllop. Ett i Stadshuset i Stockholm och ett i Korea. Men den stora festen med alla vänner var på Grand Hôtel i Stockholm. Mariella Gink från weddingplanner höll i tråderna och såg till att allting gick planenligt. Med många överraskningar, trollerier och uppträdanden fick gästerna sitt livs fest! Jyrki höll ett underbart tal till Jiyeon och berättade hur de träffades. Jiyeon fick sig många glada skratt när Jyrki och hans vän spexade för gästerna med en rolig show. Jiyeon's otroligt vackra klänning med fjädrar och i tunnaste siden (från nästa års kollektion av Pronovias) kom från Milagro de Nahrin i Stockholm. Till dansen hade Jiyeon bytt om till en kort klänning - mycket smart! Bebisen i hennes mage blir alldeles säkert en glad och social liten pojke som får vänja sig vid att resa mycket!

Jiyeon och Jyrki had two ceremonies. One in Stockholm and the other in Korea. But the big reception with all their friends was at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm. Mariella Gink from weddingplanner pulled all the strings and everything went smoothly. Many surprises, magic tricks and performances awaited the guests. Jyrki held a lovely speach to Jiyeon and told how they met. Jiyeon had so much fun when Jyrki and a friend performed with a crazy show. Jiyeon's breath taking dress with feathers and delicate silk (next years collection by Pronovias) came from Milagro de Nahrin in Stockholm. Jiyeon changed into a short dress for the dance - very smart! The baby in her belly will surely be a happy little boy that has to get used to a lot of travelling!

Ida & Daniel (båda stora vintage älskare) utformade sina inbjudningar som bio affischer och hade som förlaga Hollywood klassikern "Borta med Vinden" med Clark Cable och Vivian Leigh i huvudrollerna. Att vika affischen hade varit utänkbart... det blev snyggt dekorerade rör.

Ida and Daniel (big vintage lovers) designed the invitations as posters for the classic Hollywood movie "Gone with the wind" starring Clark Gable and Vivian Leigh. Big invitations ask for a big package... sent in tubes, decorated in vintage style.

Jiyeon och Jyrki tog sina förlovningsbilder hos mig. Vigseln var i Jiyeon's hemland, Korea, men den stora festen för alla vänner var i Stockholm. Klänningen är från n'ästa års (2012) kollektion av Pronovias och var en dröm av tunnaste siden, fjädrar och Swarovski kristaller som Jiyeon hittade hos Milagro de Nahrin.

Det här är bara en liten försmak av en fantastiskt bröllopsfest som jag visar er lite senare!

Jiyeon and Jyrki had their engagement pictures taken in my studio. The wedding ceremony was in Jiyeon's home country Korea, but the big reception for all their friends was in Stockholm. Jiyeon's dress is from next year's (2012)collection of Pronovias and was a dream of silk chiffon, feathers and Swarovski crystals that Jiyeon found at Milagro de Nahrin, Stockholm.

This is only an appetizer from the fantastic reception that I will show you later...

Ja, jag vet, jag borde ha varit mer aktiv. Jag borde ha berättad att jag har varit upptagen med rehabiliteringen av mitt benbrott. Jag trodde aldrig att det skulle ta så lång tid... Äntligen, efter månader på gymet med en pt är jag nästan som ny och klar för er alla!

Om några dagar ska jag visa er en del av de senaste månaders bilder - otroliga bröllop, fantastiska SecretBox® och uttrycksfulla porträtt.

Welcome back!

Yes, i know, I should have been more active. I should have told you that I was busy the last months with the rehabilitation of my broken leg. I never thought it would take that long... Finally, after months in the gym with a personal trainer I am almost as new and ready for you all!

In a few days I will start posting some of the work fom the last months - amazing weddings, stunning SecretBox® shootings and portraits full of life.

When Jyrki proposed to Jiyeon he wanted her to choose the ring - but at the same time he wanted to give her something that would remind her of the day. So...he bought a watch. Well, not just any watch...a Cartier! Haha, you never go wrong with something from Cartier. A few weeks later Jyrki & Jiyeon went to W.A. Bolin - Stockholm's finest jewellery store at Stureplan - to have them make a personal designed engagement ring. Look at the "K" that holds the diamond. Jiyeon's future familyname starts with a "K"... Can an engagement ring get more personal than that? 

And of course some v.e.r.y. personal engagement pictures!

Those loving eyes, that tender look were not ment for me but for Susanna's future husband. Isn't he a lucky guy? She even has breath taking legs!

Bring all those memorable acsessories to our photosession! They add a very personal touch to your pictures. Like the adorable purse that this bride was allowed to borrow from her future mother-in-law. Why not ask yours if she has any vintage things from her wedding? The veil, shoes, purse, hat...

Sometimes the most beautiful portraits are those that were not planned. Like when Susanna just relaxed a little after a session. Luckily the light still was where I wanted it!

Cold? Yes! But not too cold to sit down and have a little private chat.

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue... look at the ring with a beautiful, blue aquamarine!

This is the location for the ceremony - quite a view, don't you think so?

After the ceremony the few guests were invited to have a glass of champagne in this cosy and romantic paviljon that Kristina had decorated and changed into a "1001-nights-fairytale" dream.

When Kristian & Kristina asked me to photograph their wedding, I was så happy. I love winter weddings and this one was at a location that is not open for the public. Berga slott is a restricted area, situated in the south of Stockholm and in the property of the Swedish Navy...  Kristina wore a beautiful dress that she had bought two years ago in a boutique for vintage clothing - just because she loved it so much that she had to have it.

This is just an appetizer and I will show you more from that romantic wedding of Kristina & Kristian in a few days. 

Annika & Jakob have been together for some time. They have two kids, Elvira and Fredrik, a big family and many friends. They all came to the charming chapel in Nacka Boo to witness the ceremony.

This little chapel has no tower for the bells to ring but as you can see there was sort of a wooden tower outside with bells.

It's hard to believe that only two minor bells could create such a noise. It maybe depends on who is pulling the rope? Anyway, Fredrik thought it was cool, allthough maybe a littel too loud...

Two baskets with so much rice that you could feed all the birds in Nacka.

A few family pictures, group photos and off you go to the reception! Thank you Tommy for assisting me. Hope you had as much fun as I had.

When I drove to Sundbyholms Slott it was one of those really warm summer days we had this year. I had all sorts of cold drinks, fruits and energybars with me. You could say I was prepared for almost anything. It was a friday and I was looking so much foreward to the wedding of Annacarin & Per.

But I had no idea what would happen later that day...

Annacarin hade chosen deep purple cloured calla for her bouquet. The park  and surrounding were beautiful.

Those two love-birds were so sweet to each other - and to me! Unfortunately, we did not spend very much time together but as long as I was with them they were so concerned about me - especially when it happened...

Shortly after I had taken those pictures, walking backwards, looking at the couple, taking pictures whiIe they were walking. I stepped back....and I fell........ 5 feet down........and I knew I had hurt myself badly. I looked around, the cameras seemed to be ok. Thank God! But something else was wrong.

My leg would not move - it was broken!!!

That was when Nino (one of the guests and husband to the beautiful Cecilia)took over with my camera while I was on my way in an ambulance to the hospital for an x-ray.  

Nino, you really have an eye for details!

When Annacarin & Per arrived for the champagne they were saluted with a big bang and lot of gun-powder.

Thank you, Nino, for helping me and Annacarin & Per, to get beautiful wedding pictures despite that accident. It is now exactly 3 months since it happened and I was struggeling if should post that story or not. Now, that I feel better and know that my leg will be ok after all (even if it will take some time) I feel that I want to thank you in a special way.

See you in a few months without my crutches!

That's great! People are talking about the "SecretBox" and booking for Christmas! What could be a better present than some sensual pictures in an elegant box?

And of course I do not only photograph brides-to-be but also brides that have been in front of my camera years ago and now want to surprise their husband - you better buy some sexy lingerie...  

For a small and intimate wedding you don't need much more than an elegant dress, extraordinary shoes and your natural look - off you go!

I would have loved to show you many, many, many pictures of this wedding but...it's a secret! On the other hand there were so many beautiful details that I will share those with you instead.

We started at the brand new beauty-salong "By Barda" in Stockholm. Great atmosphere and very stylish! The bride and the bride´s maids had ordered lunch from "Pontus".

Look at the killer-shoes! ....PRADA!!!! Those dresses were my absolute favourites of the day. They could have been from an old Hollywood movie.

A Swedish "Spelmans lag" played when the couple left the chapel and lots of rose petals were handes to the guests. Look at the shoes of the bride's maids!

The reception was held at the elegant Villa Pauli in Djurholm. A perfect place!

This year's "news": Instead of a big wedding cake - many small.

The details and the decorations at Helena & Christoffer's anniversary party at Riddarhuset were so elegant and stylish. Each guest received a little gift as a memory for this very special day.

Both - Helena & Christoffer - had prepared a speach for each other and proposed a toast across the dining room. Their friends had a "royal" surprise show for them including most of the royal family (can you guess who's who?) 

This is the new trend: small cakes! Not one big wedding cake but many small cakes with different tastes and designs. And while the guests enjoyed the coffee they had the opportunity to flip through the wedding album i photographed 10 years ago...

The evening was warm and the Scandinavian light still was out there. Helena was swept away by her husband fot the first dance this evening. And from what I have heard they danced untill the morning light.

For their 10th anniversary Helena & Christoffer wanted to have the party they could not afford when they got married. So they invited the same guests to the same location (Riddarhuset) they had invited for coffee 10 years ago, they hired the same jazz band and the same photographer - ME!!!

This time the invitaions were handmade and very, very exclusive.

Instead of flowers Helena decided to bring some colour to this very elegant, greek inspired dress with a red stola. She looked like the godess with the same name!

There was so much passion and tenderness between those two - and they still looked the same after all those years!

Ten years ago our photosession was calm and peaceful... but this time it was so much more fun! Karl Hugo and Amanda are adorable kids and full of energy.

Here they come - Cecilia & Nino - to celebrate with all their friends and  families who came from all over the world.

This is the signature board that I created for Cecilia & Nino. When the party was over more than 100 guests hat put their signature around the image that I took of the couple when I first met them.

Cecilia entered the church together with her father. Despite the discussions that have been going on (crown princess Victoria wants her father to lead her to the altar and some people in the swedish church have some other opinions) there was nobody that had the feeling, that Cecilia was not walking down the aisle by her own free will.

There were so many emotions, so many feelings when they met at the altar. Look at them - I had to share those moments with you!

You can tell by Cecilia's reaction that the ring was more than she had expected!

When I met Cecilia & Nino for the first time I knew they would look great on their wedding day. I was right. But I had no idea that I would photograph a natural model! Look at this stunning bride!

Photographing Cecilia & Nino was fun! Allthough it was chilly and the rain was hanging in the air both were so happy and full of joy and they really enjoyed our photosession before their ceremony.

Cecilia & Nino loved to shoot their private photos before the ceremony. We could have spent the day just taking more and more pictures but there was a wedding ceremony that would not wait... more about that soon. 

I want to share with you what one of my ”SecretBox” brides wrote today:

Hej Brigitte,
Innan jag tittar på bilderna vill jag passa på och tacka för en jättespännande och rolig dag. Du var precis så härlig, mjuk, inspirerande och professionell som jag föreställt mig. Det var ett sant (och liiiite, eller snarare ganska mycket pirrigt) nöje! Men nervositeten jag kände innan jag kom till fotosessionen försvann fortare än kvickt när du tog tag i kameran. Tack, tack, tack!

...och WOW, är det verkligen jag?!? Bilderna är ju jättevackra!! Fastän det är jag på dem…? Du kan ditt jobb!! Nu ska jag titta på bilderna i lugn och ro och så hör jag av mig igen om en liten stund och berättar vilka jag väljer. Ha det så himla gott tills dess.         Kram, M. 

Tack, tack, tack ännu en gång snälla du. Det var en superrolig upplevelse. Nästan som en minimöhippa för mig själv . En riktig egoboost som fortfarande sitter i. Tomorrow, Helena & Christoffer will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary with a gorgeous party and I will be there too. Yes!!! They booked me again to document this event. It will take place at the same location, with the same guests and it seems that we get a beautiful sunny afternoon - again.

At that time - back in 2000 - I was one of the first wedding photographers who worked outside the studio, on location, with my Hasselblad off the tripod! Every image was on 120 film (!) and you better created each picture directly in the camera. Without Photoshop!!!

Helena & Christoffer wanted some black & white images too. That ment that we had to switch to B/W film. No converting colour to B/W in the computer...

Helena & Christoffer are now the parents of two beautifull kids - Carl Hugo and Amanda - they live now in Switzerland and are still crazy about each other after all those years.

The album quality 10 years ago was incredible. Those leather albums my clients ordered at that time still look gorgeous. Look at the details of the corners!

Nowadays we can create stunning coffee-table-books that my clients of today order for the documentary photography - and Helena & Christopher already know that they will order a CTB with all the images from their 10th wedding anniversary.

A few weeks ago i received from Maria & Marcus a thank-you-card. They got married on New Years Eve in Stockholm, although they live in Oslo, Norway. As you can see they could not chose only one image for the card - so they asked for a collage - great idea if you have so many beautiful images you want to share with your family and friends. They also ordered a coffee-table-book which will be back from the printer any day soon.

When I met Cecilia & Nino just a few days before their wedding they came up with the idea of a "signature-board"  for the reception. I had almost forgotten that I used to do those some years ago. What a great idea! Every guest can sign the photograph and create a beautiful memory.

A string of pearls is a great accessory for the "SecretBox" (allthough they say that diamonds are a girl's best friends....) Miss C. brought her own necklace but i always have mine in my "secret bag" along with a few other usefull props.

While Linda & Karl-Johan had the cocktails with their guests, some of their very best friends handed balloons, cards and pens to the guests. They wrote their wishes for the couple on the card, tied it with a ribbon on the balloon and 1-2-3 off they went to the evening sky. It was time for dinner...

A few days ago I met Susanne & Daniel for the first time but it seemed as if we had known each other. I get that feeling quite often when I meet my wedding couples - could it be that we are on the same wavelenght and share a passion for photography? Anyway, in only 4 months we will look out for the weather report and cross our fingers that the sun will shine on Värmdö!

Jag har varit alldeles lycklig efter i måndags. Det var verkligen jätteroligt. Jag är hemskt nyfiken på de andra bilderna också.

On Mondays I photograph for the "SecretBox" and this Monday Helena and I met at a hotel in Stockholm for her shooting. In the beginning she was very shy and nervous but after just a few minutes (and having seen the first images on my display of the camera) she totally loved it and said: "I could go on the whole day photographing. This is so much fun! Today was a perfect day in April: rain, snow, wind, cold... name it, we had it! Thank God I have my weddings from last summer to cheer me up. Linda was such a great model who really enjoyed to be in front of the camera. As you can see the camera enjoyed her appearance too!

Do you belong to those people who have the opinion that everything will work out just fine even if you are a last-minute-planner? Well, you may be lucky but the chances are low that you get a really good photographer for your wedding. Summer is almost here so hurry to book the few saturdays that are left!
